Athletic Therapy

Athletic Therapy focusses on the prevention, management, rehabilitation, strength and conditioning of injuries and ailments from the Musculoskeletal system. If you have a body, and your body is in pain, come on in to see an Athletic Therapist! **You do NOT need to be an "athlete" to see an AT. Everyone is an Athlete in our eyes!

Sarah Campanico, CAT(C), DOMP, is the founder of Evernew Recovery and Rehabilitation and a national award–winning leader in the fields of Athletic Therapy. With a Bachelor of Applied Health Science (Athletic Therapy) earned with honours and a Diploma of Osteopathic Manual Practice, Sarah has dedicated her career to transforming how people experience recovery from injury, pain, and trauma.

Her early career was marked by distinction—receiving five awards in five years, including two national recognitions for leadership and clinical excellence. She has worked with collegiate-level rugby teams and international ball hockey teams, but her deepest passion lies in serving populations often overlooked by conventional healthcare systems: those with chronic pain, trauma histories, and complex recovery needs.

Sarah has been building Evernew since the age of 15. Today, Evernew is a multidisciplinary, biopsychosocial clinic innovating how care is delivered—blending evidence-based rehabilitation with movement medicines, nervous system regulation, and a growing list of community-led initiatives.

Sarah’s approach is grounded in the belief that every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and empowered in their healing. Her treatment plans are never one-size-fits-all and we focused on creating optimal environments for the body to heal. Each program is co-created with each individual to reflect their goals, and capacity.

As a mom, therapist, and entrepreneur her mission is clear: to redefined the standard of care. To make it more holistic, and personal with bigger-whole-body-picture thinking.
