Floatation therapy, also known as sensory deprivation therapy, is a type of therapy that involves floating in a tank filled with water and a high saturation level of Epsom salt (Magnesium Sulfate), which provide a weightless, sensory-free environment.

Here are a few of the scientifically proven benefits of floatation therapy:
1. Reduces Stress: Floatation therapy has been shown to reduce stress levels by lowering cortisol (stress hormone) levels in the body. It promotes a deep relaxation response in the body and helps to reduce anxiety.
2. Alleviates Chronic Pain: Floatation therapy can help reduce chronic pain by relieving muscle tension, joint decompression, promoting muscle relaxation, and reducing inflammation. Studies have shown that floatation therapy can help alleviate symptoms of fibromyalgia, chronic pain, and arthritis.
3. Improves Sleep: Floatation therapy can help improve sleep quality by promoting relaxation and reducing stress levels. It can also regulate sleep patterns and reduce the symptoms of insomnia.
4. Enhances Creativity: Floatation therapy can enhance creativity by providing a distraction-free environment where the mind can wander freely. This promotes a state of mindfulness that can increase creativity and problem-solving abilities.
5. Boosts Athletic Performance: Floatation therapy can help improve athletic performance by reducing muscle tension, promoting muscle recovery, and reducing the risk of injury.

Reiki is an ancient healing technique, developed in Japan, where the practitioner will act as a channel for energy, connecting with an individual’s energetic system. Reiki healing will activate the natural healing processes of the individual’s body and restore physical and emotional well-being. This system of holistic healing restores your energetic frequency, bringing you back into balance, by effectively opening blocked meridians or chakras and clearing your energy bodies.

Reiki is practiced by lightly laying hands softly on or just above the body. Your reiki practitioner is able to channel healing energy while placing her hands over a series of locations on the body that address the main chakras and meridian centers.

I incorporate a combination of my innate gifts and Reiki (universal life force energy) to bring the ancient art of energy healing to the contemporary urban client. My Reiki sessions are intentionally formulated and uniquely designed to bring a wholesome healing experience. I use tarot cards and crystals as tools to assist me in my understanding of the energies that are present. I will bring you into a peaceful meditative state while I connect with your chakra system, current energy state, your higher self and your spirit guides. We will then work together to remove any blockages that are restricting your energy from flowing freely, helping to find clarity, peace, and guidance. It is a glimpse of what it is like to connect with something greater than yourself, and is also a time to slow down in our fast paced world and give yourself time to heal and process the emotions in your body. Blocks may include fears, limiting beliefs, worries, anxieties or anything else that is holding you back from experiencing the health, happiness and confidence you desire.

Each 1:1 Session Includes:

☾ Connection Coaching — to learn where you are + set our intentions
☾ Visualization meditation—to clarify
☾ Breath work—to relieve
☾ Reiki (chakra activations + energy cleansing) — to heal and help center your energy to come back to your true self
☾ DIY ear acupressure —to treat (Coming September 2024!)
☾ A four-page personalized medicine reading—to reflect on your healing journey + provide recommendations to stay grounded and suggestions to maintain your alignment until your next session

I work around a (w)holistic approach to healing, where connection and alignment of the physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual bodies set the foundation for health and wellness.
If you would like to work with me, please provide some details about:
What led you to Reiki?
What are you looking to shift and heal in your life?
What do you want your practitioner to know about you and your needs, so they can hold space for you to do your work?

I look forward to walking alongside you!

This head massage stems from an ancient Indian healing system - Ayurveda - the Indian medical system (approx. 5,000 years old). In Sanskrit, Ayur means life, and Veda means knowledge. Ayurveda recognizes that maintaining balance of the elements in the body and mind is essential for optimal health. This massage focuses on releasing blockages in the body, decreasing symptoms from various ailments as well as increasing circulation to the head which flushes out accumulated toxins, working on the muscles and connective tissues of the face, neck, scalp, upper back and shoulder area.

In Ayurveda, the body is considered the temple, and the head is considered the altar of the temple. The body and mind are connected as one, so once the mind relaxes the body can follow.

Benefits to Ayurvedic head massage are endless but include:
Relieving chronic neck & shoulder tension
Increasing oxygen intake in muscles
Improving blood circulation
Stimulating lymphatic flow
Relieving migraine and tension headaches
Reducing stress and anxiety
Improving mental concentration

Healthier scalp and hair

The techniques used, which originated over 100 years ago in East Indian culture, are both soothing and invigorating at the same time. It has a balancing effect on the nervous system and it helps to release stress and tension creating a sense of peace, leaving you feeling deeply relaxed, restored, grounded, and uplifted in mind + body.

Your Ayurvedic head massage will use a warmed oil, jade brush, and a kansa wand. Your service will start off with a warm botanical oil being poured on your third eye, along your hairline and throughout your scalp. Followed by a heart opening massage moving along your upper back and shoulder area, being completed with a temple massage.
